Tennessee Innocence Project launches redesigned website

New digital home gives the public a clearer window into TIP’s legal work, the people it serves, and the mission driving every case – built to meet the moment as the organization’s reach and impact continue to grow.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Innocence Project (TIP) today announced the launch of a newly redesigned website, giving visitors an easier and more complete way to understand the organization’s work freeing the wrongly convicted. The new site was built to keep pace with TIP’s growing caseload, expanding programs, and rising national visibility.

The redesigned site organizes TIP’s work around the full arc of its mission: seeking justice for all by advocating for innocent people who were wrongly convicted and working to prevent future wrongful convictions. Rather than centering on exonerations alone, the new site is structured to walk visitors through each of the four pillars that guide TIP’s work every day.

A website built around the mission

Legal Representation — The site details TIP’s case investigation, DNA testing, and litigation work, giving visitors a clear view of how the organization builds and wins exoneration cases for wrongfully convicted individuals.

Reentry Support — New storytelling features highlight how TIP walks alongside exonerees after release, connecting them to housing, employment, healthcare, and community support as they rebuild their lives.

Educational Outreach — A more flexible content platform lets TIP share case histories and client stories with dignity and care, helping the public understand how and why wrongful convictions happen.

Policy Reform — The site now gives dedicated space to TIP’s advocacy work, showing how the organization pushes for the laws and systemic changes needed to prevent wrongful convictions in the first place.
