TIP’s First Memphis Event Covered by the Commercial Appeal

TIP hosted its first Memphis event at the National Civil Rights Museum featuring exoneree Anthony Ray Hinton, who joined us again after coming to Nashville in 2021 to share his incredible story of wrongfully serving 30 years on death row in Alabama. “Although [TIP] is based in Nashville, [Executive Director Jessica] Van Dyke knew in 2019 Memphis and Shelby County would be a big part of [its] work,“ state the Commercial Appeal.
